Seasons

In the Winter, there is some of the best snow skiing around. Spring bursts forth with Apple blossoms, Wildflowers, Azaleas, Rhododendron and Flowering Dogwood trees. Summer temperatures average in the 70’s since we are at about 3,000 feet, with nice warm days, cool nights, and green mountain vistas. In the Fall, Mother Nature’s paintbrush splashes the trees with color that makes every photographer’s dream.

If you searching for things to do in Maggie Valley, look no further. Located on the fringe of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and two national forests, outdoor pursuits like hiking, camping, biking, whitewater rafting and horseback riding are favorites. You can also head over to the Cataloochee Valley area of the park and see the elk, which have been successfully reintroduced into the park.
